Using ReticulOS
Schedules — the Day Book
Schedules is a daily journal inside Reticulum: one page per day, kept as a clean ledger. Notes, tasks, links, and images all land under the date they belong to — and unfinished tasks follow you to today.
Opening it
Click Schedules in the Reticulum sidebar. It always opens on today — the day book is built around now, and yesterday is one keypress away.
Moving between days

Adding entries
Type into the quick-add bar at the bottom of the day, or just press Ctrl+V — while Schedules is open, a paste lands on the open day instead of a collection. Images, links, and text are detected the same way as everywhere else.
Every entry is a full ReticulOS cell: click it to open the cell editor with slash commands, checklists, tables — everything. The day renders as a single-column ledger, each entry numbered in order with its type and time-stamped footer.
Tags
Day-book entries use free-form tags instead of card colors. Add a tag from the entry's tag control — it autocompletes from tags you've used before, and each tag gets a consistent muted tone derived from its name. Remove a tag inline at any time.
Click a tag in the filter bar to switch to the cross-day view: every entry carrying that tag, from any date, grouped by day. It's how a running thread — standup, gym, thesis — reads as one timeline.
Carry-over: tasks that follow you
When you're looking at today, a carry-over panel surfaces every unchecked checklist item (- [ ]) from recent past days. One click copies a task forward as a fresh todo on today — the original stays where it was, unchecked, as an honest record. Whole entries can be carried too, from the entry's Carry to today action.
AI day summaries
The Summarise button in the day header sends the day's entries to your configured AI and returns a compact, formatted summary — save it back into the day as a cell tagged summary if you want to keep it. This needs AI Mode set up first.
Day-book entries are indexed for AI recall with their date and tags, so in the chat window's All collections scope you can ask things like "what did I do last Friday?" or "summarize everything tagged thesis this month."
